Hills Creek State Park is a peaceful, rural campground located near Wellsboro, PA. The park is well maintained but not heavily staffed, so visitors must find their reserved site without assistance. The park features a lake for boating and swimming (although the beach is closed due to health concerns), a 3+ mile lake loop trail, and several large loops for campers. Sites have electric and full hookups, and there is a heated bathhouse with good water pressure. The park is also close to the PA Grand Canyon and the town of Wellsboro. Hills Creek State Park is a 407-acre park located in scenic Tioga County, PA. The park is open every day of the year, sunrise to sunset. Day use areas close at dusk. The park offers camping, cabins, swimming, picnicking, hiking, fishing, hunting, boating, sledding, XC skiing, and ice skating. The park is ADA accessible and offers a seasonal visitor center in the camping area. A variety of educational and recreational programs are offered year-round. The park also has a concession that offers a wide variety of food like hamburgers, sandwiches, candy, ice cream, and drinks. It also has milk, camping supplies, firewood, and fishing bait. The concession is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 11:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M. daily, weather permitting.
