Indian Rock Campground in York, PA is located in a nice location and offers access to the beautiful York Heritage Rail Trail. However, some campers have reported issues with the sites and infrastructure at this old campground. The sites are wooded, but the low branches and trees make them tight and difficult to maneuver. The picnic tables are also very dirty. Despite reserving a site two months in advance and requesting a 30 amp site, some campers were not accommodated and received poor customer service. The firewood provided by the campground was green and unusable for campfires, and it was not possible to get a good power supply due to voltage drops and low capacity plug-ins. While some of the issues can be overlooked, the infrastructure and electrical problems make it difficult for campers to enjoy their stay.
