This campground offers wooded sites and a beautiful view of Bowdish Reservoir. Out-of-state campers pay $36/night plus a $8.75 Reserve America fee. There are no hookups, but there are porta-potties and a newly constructed bath/shower house. The hiking trails in the area are typical New England trails with some views of the water. Sunset at the beach was beautiful. Verizon voice and data is available, but there is limited drinking water access. Staff are friendly and helpful and the area is well maintained. There is also a boat launch and swimming in the reservoir. Overall, a great value for Rhode Island.
