This campground is a small family-friendly park located in a remote and quiet area. It is not suitable for large Class A motorhomes, as the roads are narrow with tight turns and overgrown low tree branches. The owner is nice but does not understand that the park should not advertise for Big Rigs. The campground has full hookups for a lower price than nearby state parks, and also has a nice pool and activity/game room for kids to enjoy. The only complaint is that the dump station is on the wrong side of the road, so make sure to bring a long hose. The owners may seem less than thrilled to have visitors, and the campers may feel like they are being watched. The roads are dirt and uneven with rocks, making it hard to maneuver around the tree limbs. Honey bucket service is available for a fee. Electrical use must be off to use one appliance, and the brownout can occur when starting. There is no sewer and the dump station is difficult to access.

Oakleaf Family Campground is a quiet retreat located in Chepachet, Rhode Island. They offer large wooded campsites for RVs, pop-ups, and tents. The campground has themed weekends and planned activities for all age groups, including crafts, horseshoes, bands, and more. They are currently full for seasonals for 2023, but still have short term camping available. If you want to be added to the 2023 or 2024 seasonal waitlist, you can fill out the seasonal application on their website.
