Unfortunately we also found out that there is a HUGE tick infestation here and the two couples we met have been treating their dogs daily as they have been FILLED with the buggers! As a side note - this place was precious known as The Paradise Mobile Home Park but changed to this RV lot. Meadowlark RV Park is a well-maintained, no-frills campground located in a safe residential neighborhood. The sites are a bit tight, but the utilities are convenient and in good condition. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and the park roads and spots are tight but manageable. The park offers a military discount and is the cheapest in the area. Unfortunately, there are no restrooms or showers available for use. There is a 1/2 mile loop and a windmill for walking dogs, but the trees are very low and can scrape up rigs on the road leading in. The electrical service has degraded to the point where the voltage is barely over 100V, and the water pressure drops frequently. There is also a tick infestation in the area. Despite these drawbacks, the park is in a great location close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, mansions, and nature.

Meadowlark Mobile Home & RV Park is an ideally located campground in Middletown, Rhode Island. It offers paved roads leading to grassy RV sites, many of which offer full hookups with 30 & 50 amp electric. All back-in sites, a large grassy park, area picnic tables, fire rings, and playground. The campground is just 2.5 miles away from the city of Newport, which offers a world of wonders, including stunning beaches and waterways, sunset cruises, yacht tours, and helicopter rides. Meadowlark Mobile Home & RV Park is a Good Sam Club Park and offers military discounts. It is a great summer destination for basking at nearby beaches and exploring exciting Newport.
