What others are saying
Lee State Natural Area is a lovely, peaceful park located near I-20 in Bishopville, SC that is perfect for a short stay or a longer visit. The park offers a mix of electric/water and full hookup RV sites, as well as equestrian sites, which can be reserved even if you dont have a horse. The campground road and sites are packed sand and many sites might require some leveling blocks. Some amenities include a couple of OTA TV channels and 2-3 bars of Verizon service. The park is also open year-round and offers many equestrian trails alongside a dedicated equestrian area, located about a mile from the campground on the loop road. Additionally, the day-use area is quite lovely, and the boardwalk trail into wetland areas was a great leisurely walk. Overall, Lee State Natural Area is an excellent destination for those seeking a peaceful, relaxing environment to camp in.
