We stayed here for a few days and it was a great experience. The campground is surrounded by tall pines, giving it a secluded feel. The sites are relatively small and have sand pads, but the scenery makes up for it. The campground is conveniently located about 20 minutes from Florence, SC and is accessible from I-20. There are a variety of sites available, from full hookup to electric and water only. The roads are dirt/sand and can become muddy in wet weather, so caution should be taken when driving. The campground is also home to many horses, which can be seen roaming around the campsites. The campground has a friendly ranger and a clean, but dated, bath house. There are also trails alongside the river for visitors to explore. The only downside is the yellow flies, which can be quite bothersome. Despite this, it is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Lee State Park is a 2839-acre park located in Bishopville, South Carolina. The park was built in 1935 by the Civilian Conservation Corps and offers a variety of recreational opportunities for visitors. Along the Lynches River, visitors can enjoy kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. The park also has over five miles of hiking trails, equestrian facilities, and picnic shelters available for rent. Lee State Park is home to a diverse range of natural habitats and wildlife, making it an ideal setting for nature walks and educational programs. The park has 25 standard campsites and 23 campsites for equestrian camping.
