Chester State Park offers camping facilities with packed gravel sites, individual water and 50 amp electrical hookups, fire rings, lantern holders, picnic tables, and picnic pads. The campground is convenient to restrooms with hot showers. The park also features a primitive group camping area, picnic shelters, and trails. Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife. Golf carts are allowed in the park with certain restrictions.
