What others are saying about this campground
Sesquicentennial State Park is a well-established, wooded campground located in Columbia, SC. The sites are nicely spaced and most offer water/electric hookups, picnic tables, and fire rings. Some sites offer full hookups for RV campers. The park features a hiking and biking trail, a large lake for fishing and boating, picnic areas, canoe/kayak/paddleboat rentals, a playground, and a park store. The staff at the park were nice and helpful. Bathrooms were clean, although some of the facilities were outdated. The pond and walking trail around it were particularly enjoyable and beautiful. There are also mountain bike trails for adventurous visitors. The only downside was that some of the sites were uneven, so RV campers with larger vehicles may need to bring leveling blocks. Overall, its a decent park, and its conveniently located 30 minutes away from Congaree National Park.
