This campground is a great place for fishing and kayaking enthusiasts. It is located near Myrtle Beach and offers a great view of the harbor. It has a small restaurant and bar on site, making it a great spot to stop over or spend the day. The people are very friendly and accommodating, however, the campground is dirty and the bathrooms/showers have mold on the walls. There is no security, and the campground can be a bit scary at night. There are lots of old boats, campers, and cars around, and the food in the restaurant is not great. There are limited spots with showers, and there is no beach or river to jump into. It is a great spot for a day trip, but it can be a bit hot as there are not many shaded spots.

Bucksport Marina offers long term and short term boat slips as well as itinerant docking. The RV Campground offers monthly and daily site rentals as well as tent camping.
