Lick Fork Lake Recreation Area is a beautiful campground located in Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests. The campground offers 9 campsites, all of which are first come-first serve. The campground also features picnic tables, lantern posts, paved parking, information board, picnic shelters, garbage cans, and vault toilets. The area is surrounded by piedmont pines and hardwoods, and the Lick Fork Lake Hiking Trail is an easy two-mile loop surrounding the lake that provides scenic views. Horn Creek Trail journeys away from the recreation area and allows hikers and bikers to explore more of the forest. The campground is open year-round, and a valid South Carolina fishing license is required to fish on the national forests.
