GenieSummary
Rock Pond Campground is a great destination for RVers looking for a quiet and convenient spot to stay. The campground is located near a double boat launch and offers 30/50 amp hook ups, water and electrical lines. It is primarily for RVs with seemingly endless barren rows full of slanted parking spots, but there is also a kid-friendly playground, community center, laundry, convenience store, and boat launches. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of cover/shade/trees and noise carries, making it feel like camping out at Bonnaroo without the A-list talent. The roads are horrible and the bathrooms are disgusting, and the staff are rude. The campground is also quite expensive, charging $120 per night. Despite this, it is a quiet and peaceful spot, and is a great place to stay if you are in the area.
From The Campground
Rocks Pond Campground & Marina is more than just a campground, it's a way of life. Located in Eutawville, SC, the campground offers acres of natural area, miles of shoreline, ancient oaks draped in Spanish moss, and access to area folklore and historic sites. The campground is open year-round with sites and units available for rent. The boat launch is open to the public with a $5 launch fee. The store is closed from November 1st until March 1st, but the campground is still open for camping. During this time, reservations can be made on the reservations line. Pit Bulls or vicious breeds are not allowed.
