What others are saying about this campground
The Charlotte/Fort Mill KOA Journey is a decent campground thats separate from the residential area. While the security is quite loose with no gate, there is a Publix, gas station, and food truck conveniently located right outside the entrance. The cabins are pretty nice and the bathrooms and showers are really impressive. Although the signage could be better, it’s not too difficult to find the park at night. The staff and visitors are very friendly, making it a great place to stay for a night stopover on a trip or a quick visit to the nearby area. However, some of the sites are not well maintained, with unusable picnic tables or non-functioning amenities like Wi-Fi or cable. Finally, it seems like there are sometimes issues with being told that the only site available is a more expensive site, despite cheaper alternatives being empty.
