This campground is an excellent place to stay. Located in a rural county setting, but still conveniently located near I-20 and between Columbia SC and Augusta GA, this campground is perfect for an overnight stay or a long-term stay. The sites are level, with sand and some weedy grass mixed in, and newly upgraded electric boxes and sewer. The campground is secure and peaceful, with active security and friendly staff who are more than willing to help with directions to local stores and attractions. Unfortunately, there is a speaker blaring loud music all day and night, which can make it hard to sleep. The campground is basic, with no amenities other than a hut-sized laundry room for an extra $20/week flat rate. Despite this, the campground is still highly recommended and a great place to stay.

From The Campground
Sandy Oak RV Park is a friendly, family-owned and operated campground that opened in the spring of 2020. The campground offers 50 amp sites with full hookups, a bath/shower house, and a laundry house. There is also a pond with a waterfall and a beach/swim area. While the campground is still a work in progress, the owners take pride in providing a warm and friendly place for guests to call their home away from home. Guests can enjoy a campfire while gazing at the beautiful night sky filled with stars.
