This campground is a great place for an overnight or long-term stay for construction workers or those visiting Congaree National Park. It is clean, well-groomed, and offers gravel interior roads with grass sites. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the highway noise is minimal. Be aware of potential hazards such as trees close to the roadway and elevated metal sewer pipes near the road. It is not big rig friendly due to tree and limb obstacles, and the owner does not realize that a truck camper is more expensive than a lot of pull behinds. Rustic and older, this is not a vacation destination, but it is a great place for a quick stay.
