GenieSummary

This campground is a great place for a peaceful getaway. Located in a national forest, it is surrounded by beautiful live oaks dripping with Spanish moss. The campground has clean pit toilets and drinking water, although it may be a bit rusty this time of year. Unfortunately, there are no established fire pits, so campers must bring their own or build their own. The Primus Kamoto OpenFire Pit is perfect for this campground, as it allows you to build a small, focused fire for cooking, or a slightly larger one for warmth, while leaving no trace. Nearby, the Sewee Visitor and Environmental Education Center offers a great opportunity to learn about the conservation efforts of the Red Wolf and tour the ancient native shell mounds in the area. This campground is perfect for those looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature.

Amenities include picnic tables and vault toilets. Water spigots are available. The area is open all year.
