Short Stay Navy Outdoor Moncks Corner is a Joint Base Charleston military recreation area that offers a relaxing and safe environment for active duty and retired military personnel. The campground has a few nice shaded spots with 30 and 50 spot hookups that are generally level, dirt with some grass, and offer lots of shade for a pleasant stay. The wireless signal is ok, and it gets better the closer you park to the local store. The bathrooms and showers are clean, and there is a dump site for sewer. Although cable signal is weak, there is good water pressure, decent data for hotspot, and good cell signal. There are kayaks and paddleboards to rent, as well as boats and pontoons for those who have a boaters license. Additionally, there is a beach, lots of picnic spaces, cabins, and a boat pier that guests can enjoy. Overall, Short Stay Navy Outdoor Moncks Corner is a nice campground that offers a memorable outdoor experience.
