Pirateland Family Campground is a great place to stay for those who love being steps away from the Atlantic Ocean. Hard sandy ground is the norm, but guests can pay extra for a concrete pad. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The laundromat is cheap, but the dryers do tend to run hot. On-site security can be unsettling with their frequent drive-bys. The campground can get crowded during the summer, but some guests prefer the quieter spring and winter months. The beach area is a great recommendation for enjoying the ocean.
