Scenic Mountain is a beautiful campground situated on two small ponds and surrounded by trees. The view from the top of the hill is stunning. You need to coordinate your arrival time to get the gate code and have cash on hand. Electric is extra, but if you stay a week, you only pay $20 a night. There are a few OTA TV stations and free WiFi, which is ok. Tmobile and Verizon services are good. The sites are gravel and dirt, near level, wide, and not especially long, with no shade. Water faucets are somewhat below ground, making connection awkward. The roads in the park are gravel and adequately wide, in good condition, with a few small potholes. The road into the park is asphalt, in very good condition, but essentially one lane; theres not room for two larger RVs to get past each other. Road directions were a bit nebulous, but eventually youll find the place. Fishing and other activities are available.

April Valley RV Park is a gated park, catering to adults in a natural, serene, quite setting. The park offers 18 spacious sites with full hook ups, located on water in the middle of a wooded area that is very private and secluded. The Pelican Lodge provides laundry facilities, bathroom facilities, adult game room, TV, and music. Fishing is available for registered guests only. The park is open year-round and welcomes snowbirds.
