Ivy Acres Lodge & RV Park in Piedmont, SC is a basic RV park that is very nicely maintained by the owners. Its mostly long-term stays, but they have a small area for short-term stays as well. The sites are gravel, pretty level and have a wooden platform where campers can put their chairs. There is a large area for dog walking/exercise and walking trails down to the river, which are nice for some outdoor activities. Our pull-through site was just long enough for our RV and Jeep, with the Verizon hotspot performing well for streaming. The park is very quiet, and despite the majority of long-term residents, everything is well maintained, neat, and rules enforced. However, the road leading to the short-term stays is rough and rutted and needs to be graded. As we are fully self-contained, the lack of facilities is not an issue for us. Overall, we have enjoyed our stay here and would recommend Ivy Acres Lodge & RV Park for anyone looking for a laid-back and well-maintained RV park.
