Angels Landing is a great family-oriented campground located near Lake Moultrie in the Santee Cooper area. It is a great place to launch a boat for fishing and is famous for record sized catfish and other species. The campground has a restaurant, boat launch, bait and tackle shop, swimming pool, basketball court, and an events planner with special events such as Halloween parties, golf cart decorating parades, pool party/cookouts, and BBQ & covered dish dinners. The sites are mostly permanent and expensive, with FHU costing $50/night plus tax & fee. The sites are close together and not very private, and the bath house needs updating. The staff are helpful and offer RV repairs and parts. Despite the lack of privacy, people enjoy their stay here and will return.
