What others are saying about this campground
Devils Fork State Park is a beautiful campground located on Lake Jocassee in the hills of northwest South Carolina. The campground offers a variety of RV sites, tent sites, and cabins, all of which are well-spaced and offer plenty of room to spread out. The sites are paved and level, with water, electric, a picnic table, and a fire ring. The park also has nice paved trails that lead to the tent sites, bathhouses, and lake area. The park offers many lake activities, including boating, swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. The lake is partially visible from some of the campsites and offers great views of the surrounding area. The park is well wooded, providing plenty of shade and good privacy between sites. The campground is a little tight and roads to sites are not big-rig friendly, but the park is clean and nicely done with lush trees. The campground is well maintained, with the Rangers going site-to-site to check people in and the camp host checking fire pits. The bathhouse and dump station could use some updating, but the park is still a great place to enjoy the lake and surrounding area.
