What others are saying about this campground
Croft State Park is a great destination for RV and travel trailer camping, as well as equestrian camping. It is located in a state natural area and is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The campground is divided into two loops, with one closer to the lake and the other more in the woods. The lake sites have great views but are closer together, while the outer sites in the lake campground are more spacious and offer great views of the lake. The primitive sites are more secluded and are a short hike to the parking area. The campground offers horse stalls, nice riding trails, and a show ring. There is also a large arena that is free to use. The lake is small but offers kayaking, boating, and fishing with rentable Jon boats, kayaks, and SUP. The campground also has a camp store, a bath house, and several hiking/biking trails. There are also marked trees and a trail that goes along side a large stream. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the park is only an hour away from major cities and Interstate highways.
