Big Water Marina in Starr, SC is a great small park located on the picturesque Hartwell Lake. The marina offers pontoon and kayak rentals, as well as boat slips for those who have their own boats. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and we received a welcome bag upon check-in with key information about services and amenities. The bar restaurant on-site serves excellent food, and is conveniently located within a short walk of all the campsites. Although most campsites are not shaded, they are right on the water, offering phenomenal views of the lake and sunsets. Additionally, the campground offers a playground and live music performances at their stage. Overall, a great spot for a fun and relaxing camping experience. Highly recommended!

Big Water Marina & Campground is a waterfront campground located on Lake Hartwell in Starr, SC. The campground offers over 40 sites, including full hook-up and partial hook-up sites, as well as cabin rentals. Guests can enjoy top-notch amenities, endless views of Lake Hartwell, and incredible sunsets. The marina also offers pontoon and watercraft rentals, a waterfront dining experience at J.R. Cash's Grill & Bar, and a family-friendly water zone called Splash Island. Storage services are also available for boats and watercrafts.
