Santee Campground is a convenient and well-run campground located close to I-95. It offers beautiful shaded sites, pet-friendly facilities, a small store with souvenirs and necessities, an unfilled pool, a playground for kids and dogs, and yummy smelling pizzas available for delivery. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and the campground is clean. During the summer, the canopy of trees and proximity to the lake make it a great draw, but during the off-season it is a convenient stopover. The nightly fee is a little high for a primitive park, but the lake access is very good. However, the campground needs to spruce up, especially the comfort stations, in order to make the fee more acceptable.

From The Campground

Relaxation awaits you at this new KOA with more than 120 Pull-Thru RV Sites, shaded by oaks draped in Spanish moss, tall pines and tropical palmettos. Wander down to the campground's scenic lakefront along the north shore of Lake Marion (the largest lake in South Carolina), where you can settle in for a picturesque sunset. Visit with other campers at the inviting pool or community fire pit, or simply enjoy a game of cornhole or carpet golf. Your pet will enjoy exercising at KampK9! The campground sits about 100 miles from the North Carolina and Georgia state lines, with quick and easy access off I-95. It's just a few minutes' drive to restaurants, shops and several championship golf courses. Historic Charleston, only an hour away, has distinctive architecture, Civil War sites, and delicious restaurants. Due to the rural nature of our location, there is no cable provider in the area; therefore, we cannot provide cable to our campers. We do provide WiFi. Pool: May 1st-October 31st. Max pull thru: 85 feet. Please call for reservations for sites over 65 feet.
