From The Campground

Keowee-Toxaway State Park is a beautiful park located in the mountains of South Carolina. The park offers camping facilities with 10 paved sites that have individual water and electrical hookups and can accommodate RVs up to 40 feet total vehicle length. The designated tent area includes 10 sites with central water and individual tent pads and fire rings. The campground is convenient to restroom facilities with hot showers. Backcountry camping is allowed at three designated sites near the shores of Lake Keowee. Combination fire rings/grill pits are provided. Campers may access the backcountry sites by either hiking to them on the Raven Rock Trail or by paddling to them in a canoe/kayak from the canoe/kayak launch. Registration is required. Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet.
