The owners have put a lot of effort into making the campground a pleasant experience for visitors, with staff that is friendly and helpful, and a golf cart patrolling the grounds to pick up bagged trash and assist campers. Unfortunately, there is a lack of shade trees in the area, and the campground pitches hard toward the lake, making it difficult to walk. Additionally, the owners are unwilling to make exceptions for refunds, even when the campground is only a third full.
