This remote campground in the national forest is perfect for a quick getaway. With 23 sites spaced a good distance apart, each site has a fire pit and picnicking area, making it ideal for campers looking for some peace and quiet. Horses and other pets are allowed, and there are trails nearby for hiking and horseback riding. There is no water or electric access, but there are clean pit toilets. The campground is close to I-26 and is within good driving distance to larger towns. There is a $5 fee, and a pay box is available, but there is no ranger on-site. Firewood is available for campfires, and there are picnic tables at most campsites. During hunting season, the campground can get crowded with bigger rigs and generators, but at other times of the year it is relatively quiet.

From The Campground
Brick House Campground is a year-round camping facility located in Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests. It offers 21 campsites with tables, grills, and lantern holders. The campground is ideal for wildlife and plant observation, horse riding, mountain biking, hiking, and photography. Abundant wildlife populations provide some of the most desirable hunting areas in the upstate. The campground has a vault toilet and allows horses in designated areas highlined behind white-banded trees around the perimeter of the campground.
