The Oaks At Point South RV in Yemassee, SC is a great location for visiting local cities, wildlife preserves, and the beach. The utilities all worked. The campground feels like a mom and pop style RV park but the staff is kind and friendly. The facilities have been recently updated and are spic & span clean. The campground roads are narrow and some sites are better than others. There are a couple of ponds and land trails around it that also meet up with the KOA park down the road. Fishing would be tricky with low hanging branches but Im sure you could find the right spot. It needs attention but it had a nice feel overall.

The Oaks at Point South is an age-qualified resort (55+) located in an ideal location in South Carolina. The campground offers RV campsites and rental accommodations. Pets are allowed. The campground has a cancellation policy that allows full refunds for cancellations up to 2 days prior to arrival for daily and weekly reservations. For long-term reservations (28 days or longer), full refunds are allowed for cancellations up to 60 days prior to arrival. The campground offers a maximum of 14 days per site for reservations from April 15th till September 15th. Back-to-back 14-day stays are permissible, given that guests change sites between reservations.
