What others are saying about this campground
West Hill Campground is an ideal spot for an overnight stay or a few days of camping. It is located at a Fairgrounds park and offers a variety of camping sites, ranging from grass with trees to no shade gravel. It offers 50 amp electric, water, and sewer hookups, as well as a central spigot for four camping sites. The price is very affordable and the roads are wide open and gravel. It is self-service, so there is a low rating on service, but it is great for a no-frills camping experience. The West Hill section is the only one with 50 Amp electric, and it is on a slope, so it may be difficult to level if it is full. There is no shade and it can be dusty, but it is great for an overnight stay. There are bike trails and fairground activities close by, and a great kids park. The access roads can be muddy after rain, and there is standing water on some sites. Payment is in the Fairground Office building just north of the Hog & Sheep Barn.
