Schmidt's Landing is a family-friendly campground located on the South Dakota side of Big Stone Lake. The campground offers Lakeside Suites and camping spots, perfect for family getaways or reunions. Guests can enjoy fishing for walleye and perch, as well as recreational activities such as complimentary kayak and pedal boat rentals, swimming at the beach, and playing beach volleyball. The campground also offers boat and pontoon rentals, and many docks for fishing. Pets are allowed in the campground but not in the two-bedroom suites. The surrounding area offers many activities such as ATV and OHV recreational areas, wildlife refuge, disc golf, shopping, and dining options. Guests are asked to bring their own blankets, pillows, and bath towels to keep everything clean. Schmidt's Landing is committed to providing a clean and enjoyable experience for all guests.
