However, campers should avoid parking their vehicles in the middle of the entrance/exit when checking in/out in order to not block others. Some sites may not be completely level, and the showers can sometimes run scorching hot or cold. Overall, the Big Pine Campground gets a thumbs up and is highly recommended.

Located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, this campground has earned a five-year 'Hall of Fame' award from TripAdvisor. The 2023 camping season begins on May 1st and ends on October 4th.
