Blue Bell in Custer, SD is a favorite camping spot for many families due to its convenience and amenities. The campground is conveniently located at the beginning of the Wildlife Loop and Needles Highway. It has a nice paved bike path that runs along Coolidge Creek and is great for a relaxing and shady ride with kids. The trails offer amazing views of the area. Many of the campsites are located just feet from a babbling creek, providing a great atmosphere for campers. There are flush toilets, laundry facilities, and showers available for campers. However, some campers have mentioned very little privacy or space between sites, leading to feeling crowded. The addition of a new dump site in the area causes some noise, but it will be a great addition in the future. Despite some minor drawbacks, Blue Bell remains a favorite camping spot for many families, and they visit year after year.
