Custer Crazy Horse Campground is a lovely and well-maintained campsite with great amenities, including a laundry room, clean showers, and bathrooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer a pool, coffee shop, small store, and a pool stable. The campgrounds proximity to Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park, and Crazy Horse Monument makes it very convenient for sightseeing. We stayed in a tent site that was quite nice and did not need electric. The water source was close by, and it was quiet at night. The coffee shop offers some amazing treats and smoothies that the kids loved. The laundry room was clean and convenient. The owners are very helpful in guiding campers around the site. The price is reasonable, and the level campsites make them easy to pitch a tent. We loved our stay and would visit again.

Custer Crazy Horse Campground is located 1 mile north of Custer, South Dakota, and offers a variety of camping experiences including tent sites, RV sites, sleeper cabins, and a deck house. All camping sites include a fire pit and picnic table. The campground is surrounded by many attractions including Crazy Horse Monument, Mount Rushmore, and Custer State Park. Within a 30 minute drive, visitors can also explore Cave of the Winds, Jewel Cave, Hot Springs, and Mammoth site. The campground offers a peaceful and scenic environment for visitors to enjoy.
