Custer Mountain Cabins & Campground is a rustic, shaded campground surrounded by mature ponderosa pines. The campground is off the main road and set back, which results in milder noise levels. The bike path entrance to the campground runs from Custer City to the West entrance of Custer State Park, making both within easy biking distance. Custer City has multiple excellent dining options, a post office, grocery store, and hardware stores. The campground mows an area for a dog path, but campers can also take relaxing walks from the front to the back of the campground along the gravel road.

Custer Mountain Cabins & Campground is a family-owned campground located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. The campground offers a variety of accommodations including rough hewn log cabins, RV sites with full hook-ups, and tent sites. The campground is conveniently located 1.5 miles east of the City of Custer and 2 miles west of Custer State Park on Highway 16A. The campground is ATV friendly and there are an abundance of trail riding opportunities in the Black Hills. Guests can enjoy the quiet tranquility of the campground while exploring the beauty of the Black Hills.
