French Creek RV Camp in Custer, SD is a no-frills campground that offers full hookups, cable if you want, and solid rock, level sites for motorhomes, 5th wheels, and tents. While the campground has limited amenities, its a great location within walking distance to downtown where you can find shopping, food and drinks, a grocery store, a few parks, and a brewery. The central location of the park is a big benefit and Steve, the manager, was helpful and accommodating during our stay. The park was quite quiet and everything worked well including the WiFi.

From The Campground

French Creek RV and Campground is nestled away in the Black Hills and offers views of birch trees, majestic Ponderosa Pines, and the peaceful sounds of a babbling creek. The campground is under new management and offers friendly 24/7 service for guests. They have back-in sites only, RV sites with gravel and electric hookups, and tent sites with grassy and shaded areas along the creek. The newly renovated rec room and clean showers are available for guests. Dogs, cats, and other friendly critters are welcome, and there is a leash law in Custer. Smoking is allowed, but guests are asked to dispose of cigarettes properly and safely.
