She was friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. This RV campground is an idyllic, peaceful spot located just 6 miles from Deadwood, South Dakota. It features 18 well-maintained sites with concrete pads, full hookups, and plenty of space between each site for privacy. The campground is impeccably maintained and features a creek running just behind the sites, providing a beautiful backdrop for relaxing or sleeping. There is also a clubhouse with a large Weber and Blackstone grill, foosball table, microwave, and complimentary hot showers. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and there is a small gift shop in the office. The campground is surrounded by scenic drives and trails for four wheelers and side-by-sides. Unfortunately, there is no Wi-Fi or cable, and cell phone service is spotty. Payment must be made in cash or check, and there are no discounts. However, the campground offers sleeping cabins for visitors, and there is a laundromat, playground, and game room at the adjoining campground. With its beautiful setting and friendly staff, this campground is a great choice for a relaxing getaway.
