Rafter J Bar Campground is the perfect place to stay while visiting the Black Hills. This campground offers full hookups with amazing scenery, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The campsites are well spaced, with lots of trees and a fair distance away from neighbors. There are also plenty of amenities such as a pool, hot tub, basketball, and volleyball court. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the camp store and laundry facilities are handy. There is also an outdoor grill and kitchen with a fridge and coffee maker. The campground is centrally located, within minutes of Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Sylvan Lake, Hill City, and Custer. There is considerable highway noise on the east side, but the big sites make it worth it. WiFi is spotty, but the views and scenery more than make up for it.
