The Interior Grocery Campground is a small and unassuming RV park located just outside the Badlands National Park. It consists of five long, level, gravel/sage pull-through sites with full hookups, including water, 50 amp outlets, and sewer connections. The campground is located across the street from the Interior Grocery store, the only grocery store in the area, and is a popular gathering place for locals in the evenings. The sites are close together, but everyone is respectful and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. There is no pool, picnic table, fire ring, restrooms, showers, or playground for kids, but the campground is a great home base for exploring the Badlands, with beautiful views and hiking, and sunsets. The campground is also close to a holiday parade, a major league rodeo, and a free holiday picnic. The Wagon Wheel Bar and Grill is two blocks away and has good hamburgers and so-so pizzas. The price for full hookups is very reasonable, making this a great place to stay if everything else is booked.
