Badlands Interior Motel & Campground is a clean and well-maintained campground located just outside of Badlands National Park. The pool is a great feature and many guests appreciated being able to swim while enjoying the views of the Badlands. The tent sites are situated away from the road, offering quiet surroundings with beautiful views. The newer shower house is clean and has individual bathrooms. RV sites are a bit close, but still manageable. The camp store is good and they sell firewood. The breakfast served at the on-site café was delicious and reasonably priced. Guests appreciated the friendly staff and overall comfortable stay at this campground.

From The Campground

Badlands Interior Campground is a full-service campground located only 1 mile from the Badlands National Park. The campground offers everything from tent sites to full hookup pull-thru sites, as well as camping cabins. Amenities include a restaurant, store, swimming pool, fire pits, and free Wi-Fi. The campground is a Good Sam park and is the only campground where you can have a fire and view the Badlands from your site. The RV sites are 45' to 100' long pull-thru and have water & electric or full hookup. The campground is a 10-minute walk to the town of Interior and 2 miles to the National Park visitors center. The campground is close to area attractions such as Wall Drug, Prairie Homestead, Minuteman Missile Museum, Helicopter tours, Wounded Knee, Badlands Petrified gardens, etc. Black Hills attractions are 1 to 2.5 hours away by way of scenic county highways.
