The location is ideal, as it is close to Keystone, with many restaurants nearby, and is within a short drive to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and other parks and trails. The facilities are clean, including the pool which is well-maintained. The electric tent sites are spacious, with a shelter for the picnic tables, and the toilets and showers are nearby. However, the sites are in close proximity to each other and are right on a road without a shoulder, which can be a nuisance for those with pets or wanting to ride bikes/run. The owner is friendly and provides useful suggestions for nearby activities, though the town is not walkable and there arent many great areas for dog walks. Additionally, there is only one washer and dryer available, so scheduling laundry early is recommended.
