What others are saying about this campground
This campground is a hidden gem located on the shores of a large lake. It features well-spaced sites on level gravel pads, each with a picnic table and grass. The campground hosts, Sharon and Warren, are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The showers are clean but the womens side has lukewarm water. The entry is about 3 miles off the main highway and the road has a couple of breakups, but they have been temporarily repaired. There is a nice walking trail, boat launch, fish cleaning station, and double dump set-up with potable water. The campground also offers five cabins and is close to the DeSmet area. The only downside is the flies and the occasional cigarette butts and junk in the firepit.
