Happy Holiday RV Resort in Rapid City, SD has friendly staff who are very accommodating and offer great customer service. The location of the resort is perfect for visiting Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, and Custer State Park. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the amenities are outstanding. The park is surrounded by trees, giving it a natural feel, but some sites may be tight for bigger rigs. The park is okay for an overnight stop, but has a lot of full-time residents. Despite being run down, the hosts and amenities were rated 5 stars by many visitors. The Wi-Fi was fast, the FHU worked fine, and the laundry room was decent. The lounge chairs at the pool were mostly broken, but that did not detract from the overall experience. In summary, Happy Holiday RV Resort is a happy place with lots of attractions located nearby and a staff that will make your stay a pleasant one.
