Rushmore Shadows Resort in Rapid City, SD is a beautiful campground with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful, creating an enjoyable stay for guests. The campground has fairly large sites and a nice-sized dog park. The resort is centrally located near many attractions, including national parks and big box stores. While the park does not have many trees or shade in certain areas, the power is reliable and stayed connected at 50 amp. The Wi-Fi was sometimes iffy, but that is not uncommon for campgrounds. Overall, a pleasant experience and recommended for back areas if you dont mind parking on gravel.
