Redfield City Camping is a surprisingly lovely and nice campground located just off Highway 212, right on the lake shore before you enter town from the west. It is a small campground, with only 20 spaces, all of which are back-in sites in a circle, with restrooms and playground in the center area. The campground host is located at site #1 and is very friendly and can answer any questions about the town or area. The sites have level ground, lake views, sunset views, and are star gazing friendly. There is a gentle cool breeze at night, and the hookup is easy to access and located on the correct side for back-in sites. The bathrooms/showers are individual with a door lock, providing plenty of room and privacy, a sink, toilet, and hot water shower. The shower is fully accessible with a fold down seat, rails, and easy controls. There is a free dump station with non potable water, and a 24 hour laundromat is located on main street just five minutes from the campground. Every 4th of July, there is a huge free fireworks show. Reservations are required and can be made online on the City of Redfield website, with a 20 day max stay.
