Dakota Sunsets RV Park & Campground in Salem, SD is a peaceful and quiet campground located just off the highway. The owners are very nice and welcoming, making sure to space out the campers to ensure enough space for everyone. They also provide treats for dogs and cookies for humans at check-in. The campsite has a lovely and thoughtful dog park with toys and water. The grounds are well-kept, and the roads are in good condition. The location allows for beautiful sunsets, and it is easily accessible from I90. This campground is perfect for a stopover, and it is not far from Sioux Falls, making it easy to spend a day exploring the city.

Dakota Sunsets RV Park and Campground is located just south of Salem, South Dakota, and is easily accessible, just 1-1/2 miles north of Interstate 90 at Exit 364. The campground offers 54 sites, including options for big rigs, with water, electric, and sewer available. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, BBQ, a dedicated tenting area, covered gazebo with picnic table, Wi-Fi at every site, restrooms and showers, a playground, pavilion, horseshoes, laundry facilities, a camp store, and RV supplies and groceries. Discounts are available for Law Enforcement, Military, First Responders, and Nurses. The campground is open from April 1st to late October (weather permitting) and is the perfect overnight oasis for visitors travelling to and from South Dakota's many great attractions and scenic wonders. The location is central to the Corn Palace in Mitchell, Falls Park in Sioux Falls, and Laura Ingalls Wilder’s home in De Smet. The campground offers a quiet and peaceful stay in a rural setting with clean facilities, shady sites, and reasonable rates.
