What others are saying about this campground
The campground is a grass field with no trees, but there is a nice view of the downtown skyline. We stayed here for a week while visiting family in Sioux Falls. The campground is a grass field with no trees, but there is a nice view of the downtown skyline. The campground is located at the Sioux Falls Fairgrounds, which offers full and partial hook-ups for families visiting the fair. The interior roads are paved and there is a centrally located dumpster. There is no tree coverage to block satellite reception. The campground is convenient to the city and has great Verizon coverage. There are a few OTA TV stations and satellite view is perfect. The campground is usually not crowded, but during the 4th of July week there are fewer spots available due to areas in the fireworks fallout being closed. The grass surface can be soggy from rain, so it is important to put blocks down under leveling feet. The campground host is very helpful and allows guests to pick whichever site they want. There is a dog show and a Haunted House on the property. The campground is noisy during the day due to traffic, trains, and aircraft, but is quiet at night. The price reflects a weekly rate, and is a little pricey for what you get, but it is a great value for being in Sioux Falls.
