Adjacent to the park overlooking the river is a beautiful nine-hole golf course, and a bike trail connects the park to the town of Springfield. The park offers a variety of activities including biking, birdwatching, boating, canoeing, fishing, hiking, kayaking, picnicking, and walking. The park also offers amenities such as biking trails, boat ramps, campgrounds, camping cabins, drinking water, dump stations, electrical campsites, fish cleaning stations, fishing piers, flush toilets, group picnic shelters, hiking trails, picnic tables, self-serve entrance kiosks, shore fishing access, and showers.
