Clay County Park is a great campground for RVers and tent campers alike. With 4 tent sites on the south edge of the area, the acreage is covered with tall cottonwood trees providing partial sun/shade and no privacy. There is a short trail which goes down to the Missouri River, as well as a pit latrine in the tent area and two shower houses in the RV sections. Each site has a fire ring and a picnic table, and there is a bathroom with one shower per gender. The campground is electric only and there is drinking water and a sewage dump close by. Verizon air card and cell phone work well here and there is a camp host on duty. The fee for tent camping is $10 per night.
