Badlands Campground is a no-frills campground located 8 miles from Badlands National Park, and within walking distance to the famous Wall Drug Store. It is an older, well-used campground with easy access on/off I-90 and close to the main tourist district. The sites are level, with good cable, and satellite friendly, and the owners are nice and hard working. The campground has a small pool, playground, laundry, and store on site, and offers free WIFI, showers, and laundry. It is not suitable for vehicles over 35 feet, and the restroom and showers are a bit run down. The campground is also close to a railroad track and a train goes by every morning around 3am and blows the whistle quite a few times. Despite this, it is a peaceful and quiet campground, and the price is good for its location. It is a great place to stay for a night or two while exploring the area.
